Ben is our very spunky, little 5 year old. He has a very rare genetic disorder called Smith-Magenis Syndrome. This has made it much more difficult for Ben to function in our world. But with lots of help and love from friends and family we are hoping to obtain a service dog to give Ben a better quality of life! We hope you find this site useful in answering all your questions. Service dogs are a very special tool used for children and adults with disabilities. These dogs are trained in many different areas and the results are astonishing!

11/15/2009 It's been a long time since we have updated this site. Thankfully, the past year has seemed to fly by, I can't believe we are only two weeks away from meeting Ben's SD. This last week 4 Paws gave us our matches and we are so excited to be getting Starburst! Now we just need to get all our dog supplies and we'll be set.
